Paintings

I enjoy  eye-catching colour and soothing design and as I have often said,
art is my excuse for putting bright colours together on a page or a canvas.

This one, below was in response to a request to paint a healing Angel
for a massage and healing treatment room...

 "Aqua Angel"

Below is one of a tropical "Gaugin-inspired" series...

In 2008 & 2009 I did a series of paintings which were
inspired by some aspects of Van Gogh's works.
This one below is entitled "Past, Present and Future"
and its relative size is depicted in the small shot below it.

These two below are smaller canvasses entitled "Night Vase"

and "Day Vase", done in a similar style of swirling blooms

and glitter embellishment. (Apologies, the photos don't

quite capture the bold colours and sparkles fully.)

In situ, complete with some orbs in the room...

This one below, I call "Joyful Blossoming Lotus" .

It is embellished with glitter and with the right lighting,

it does joyfully liven up a living space.

It is part of a series of paintings i did with a mandala-type theme...

"Harmony"

"Energize"

"Connection"

"Carnivale of Elements"

"Quan Yin at the Beach"

(above) is another large-sized canvas with sparkling embellishment.

Again, relative size is shown below, with thanks to Emily...
